Altar Society

The members of the St. Casimir Altar Society work together to keep the interior of the church looking beautiful for the daily sacrifice of the Mass, and for various liturgical seasons and special feasts. They decorate the altars with flowers, make liturgical banners, take care of laundering the various linens used during Mass, and take care of the many items needed for the liturgy. Through their annual winter “Soup for the Soul” lunch and spring flower sale they raise funds for the parish and purchase needed items for the church.

If you would like to join them, contact Jackie Caruso-Taylor.

Holy Name Society

President: Jim Fakult, Vice Pres. George Riggin, Treasurer is Barbaba Grauel, and Susan Milikas is secretary. Holy Name Society meets every fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Marcella Rd. house. They also hold a 50-50 raffle every month. Everyone is welcome.

PSR classes

During the month of August, as our young people plan for the beginning of a new school year, we are also planning our religious education program for the coming year. Children of grade school age should be receiving formal religious training, either in a Catholic school, or in a parish PSR program. Two years of Catholic instruction is required for First Communion, and Confirmation is administered in the eighth grade. Families with children who need to enroll in our PSR program, are asked to contact the parish office to register before August 31st.

Eucharistic Ministers

The diocese holds training sessions for Eucharistic Ministers in the fall and spring of each year. If you are interested, talk to the pastor.

Altar servers

Children, who have received their First Communion are invited to become servers. If you are interested, talk to the pastor.
