The documentary film, The Original Image of Divine Mercy, explains the mysterious case of the priceless painting commissioned by Saint Faustina, and how it survived almost a century of improbable odds, including the Soviet occupation of Lithuania. How it was stolen, rolled up in a storage locker, and how two brave nuns risked everything to smuggle it across the border from Belarus back to Lithuania.

Released for the Holy Jubilee Year of Mercy, this two hour long film captures the broken silence of key witnesses as well as appearances by a long list of very special guests, (among them: Bishop Robert Barron, archbishop Gintaras Grušas of Vilnius, Christoph Cardinal Schönborn of Vienna, Stanisław Cardinal Dziwisz of Kraków, Harry Connick Jr., Jim Gaffigan) and special footage with Pope Francis.

The film is in English (with some subtitles) and approximately 2 hours long. Free showing, although donations are accepted.
