FALL FUND RAISER
Our
Ninth Annual Clambake/Steak Bake/Autumn Raffle will take place on
Saturday, October 26th, beginning after the 5:30 Mass in our
upper hall. Raffle tickets are now available at the back of the Church.
All parishioners are asked to pick up their envelope with Raffle tickets,
as this will save us the cost of mailing them to everyone.
We invite everyone to participate in this fund-raiser to support our
parish. In addition to great food, there will be plenty of refreshments, a
basket auction, split raffles, sideboards and much more. Dinner tickets will
be available after Labor Day.
We are also looking for
volunteers to help with this project.
Set up, clean up, bakers, and other volunteer positions need to be filled.
Please sign up in the Book Room to help us out. We look forward to seeing
everyone on October 26th.
PROGRAM BOOK
Again this year, we are printing a program book for our Fall Fund Raiser.
Parishioners, Parish Organizations, and businesses are invited to advertise
or send their greetings showing support for our Parish. An ad can be placed
in the book for as little as $10. Ad forms are in everyone’s ticket
envelope. Additional forms are available at the back of the church. Everyone
is invited to participate.
FAMILY PERSPECTIVE
“Those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Family life confirms the
words of Jesus in today’s gospel. Commitment, intimacy, loyalty, and love
are the rewards of humble service and care for one another. Pope Frances
reminds us, “no family drops down from heaven perfectly formed.”

PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN
The Diocese of Cleveland’s “Protecting God’s Children” program is a
continuing effort to instruct and inform everyone about the protection of
children from sexual abuse. To report any past or present suspected
inappropriate behavior toward children by priests, deacons, religious, lay
ecclesial ministers or personnel associated with the Church, please contact
the Diocesan Response Service Office via e-mail at

or calling at 216-334-2999. You are also asked to immediately inform local
authorities about inappropriate behavior.
